Київська область одна з перших прийняла на себе удар російських загарбників. З першого дня війни окупаційні війська вторглися до регіону з території республіки білорусь. Активні бойові дії на Київщині тривали з 24 лютого до 3 квітня 2022 року на території Бучанського, Вишгородського і Броварського районів. Було окуповано 15 територіальних громад, 270 населених пунктів області.
Гуманітарні коридори для евакуації мирного населення з найгарячіших точок відбувалася майже щодня. Проте не завжди вдавалося реалізувати евакуацію навіть за погодженими маршрутами. Через порушення режиму тиші окупантами не спрацьовували деякі гуманітарні коридори, особливо з Бородянського напрямку.
Крім того, евакуація відбувалася і без гуманітарних коридорів. Так, всесвітньовідомою стала так звана «дорога життя» під знищеним Романівським мостом (район Ірпеня). Цим шляхом пройшло майже 40 тисяч жителів Приірпіння.
Під час бойових дій, внаслідок обстрілів, авіанальотів, ракетних ударів у Київській області зафіксовані руйнування у 46 територіальних громадах з 69. Тобто понад 65% області зазнало руйнацій внаслідок російської агресії. Критичних руйнувань завдано в Бучанській, Ірпінській, Гостомельській, Бородянській, Макарівській, Дмитрівській, Великодимерській, Пісківській територіальних громадах.
1370 жителів пристоличного регіону стали жертвами бойових дій та ракетних обстрілів загарбників у період з лютого по березень 2022 року. Понад 700 із них були закатовані або вбиті стрілецькою зброєю.
Президент України Володимир Зеленський 4 квітня 2022 року відвідав місто Бучу, де під час окупації російськими військами відбулися масові вбивства мирних жителів.
Kyiv region was one of the first to bear the fights of the russian invaders. From the first day of the war, occupation troops invaded the region from the territory of the republic of belarus. Active hostilities in the Kyiv region lasted from February 24 th to April 3 rd, 2022, in Bucha, Vyshhorod and Brovary districts. 15 territorial communities, 270 settlements of the region were occupied.
Humanitarian corridors for the evacuation of the civilian population from the hottest spots took place almost every day. However, it was not always possible to carry out the evacuation even according to the agreed routes. Due to the violation of the regime of silence by the occupiers, some humanitarian corridors did not work, especially from the Borodyanka direction.
In addition, the evacuation took place without humanitarian corridors. Thus, the well known “road of life” under the destroyed Romanivskiy bridge (Irpin district) became world-famous. Almost 40,000 residents of Priirpin region passed this way.
During the hostilities, as a result of shelling, airstrikes, and rocket attacks in the Kyiv region, destruction was recorded in 46 territorial communities out of 69. So, more than 65% of the region was destroyed as a result of russian aggression. Critical destruction was caused in Bucha, Irpin, Hostomel, Borodyanka, Makariv, Dmitrivka, Velikodymerka, Piskivska territorial communities.
1,370 residents of the region became victims of hostilities and rocket fire by the invaders in the period from February to March 2022. More than 700 of them were tortured or killed by bullets.
On April 4 th, 2022, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, visited the city of Bucha, where mass killings of civilians took place during the occupation by russian troops.
