Ще до початку воєнного вторгнення Річард Бренсон рішуче засуджував дії кремля щодо формування контингенту військ на українських кордонах. Після 24 лютого став одним з тих, хто найактивніше став на підтримку України. Є одним з прихильників скорочення споживання енергоносіїв російського походження.
Своєю активністю у інформаційному полі та соцмережах закликав західних партнерів України прискорити постачання зброї, був гострим критиком тих країн, що не наважувались безальтернативно та публічно стати на сторону України у розв’язаній росією війні.
29 червня 2022 року прибув з візитом в Україну, де провів зустрічі на найвищому рівні та підтвердив відданість цінностям, які відстоює Україна у війні з рф.
Продемонстрував інтерес до перспектив відновлення аеропорту у Гостомелі та літака АН-225 «Мрія».
Очолювана Річардом Бренсоном група компаній Virgin Group надавала різносторонню допомогу українцям для полегшення їх становища в умовах бойових дій.
Річард Бренсон продовжує активно відстоювати українські інтереси на глобальному рівні та просувати ідею всесторонньо підтримки нашої держави як на гуманітарному так і на військовому рівнях.
Even before the start of the military invasion, Richard Branson strongly condemned the actions of the Kremlin regarding the formation of a contingent of troops on the Ukrainian borders. After February 24, he became one of those who most actively supported Ukraine. He is one of the supporters of reducing the consumption of oil&gas of Russian origin.
With his activity in the media and social networks, he called on Western partners of Ukraine to speed up the supply of weapons. He was also a sharp critic of those countries that did not take the side of Ukraine showing unwavering public support towards our country in the war started by Russia.
On June 29, 2022, he visited Ukraine, where he held meetings at the highest level and confirmed his commitment to the values that Ukraine defends in the war with the Russian Federation.
He showed interest in the prospects of restoring the Gostomel airport and the AN-225 Mriya aircraft.
The Virgin Group, headed by Richard Branson, provided all-round assistance to Ukrainians to ease their situation in the midst of hostilities.
Richard Branson continues to actively defend Ukrainian interests at the global level and promote the idea of comprehensive support for our country both at the humanitarian and military levels.
