Шон Пенн – оскароносний голлівудський актор та режисер, який з перших днів війни засуджує вторгнення рф, палко підтримує Україну й не лише словом, а й ділом допомагає народу країни. Шон є засновником благодійної гуманітарної організації CORE Response, яка допомагає ВПО в Україні та біженцям в Польщі та Румунії.
У листопаді актор вкотре зустрівся з Володимиром Зеленським та передав йому статуетку “Оскар” на знак віри в перемогу нашої країни. В свою чергу Президент вручив Шону Пенну орден “За заслуги” III ступеня за значний особистий внесок у зміцненні міждержавної співпраці та підтримку в нелегкі для України часи.
Наразі Шон Пенн продовжує роботу над документальним фільмом про російсько-українську війну, адже актор вже не раз відвідував звільнені території та прифронтові зони, аби на власні очі побачити жахи руйнувань українських міст й розповісти про це усьому світу.
Sean Penn is an Oscar-winning Hollywood actor and film director who, from the first days of the war, has condemned the invasion of the Russian Federation, passionately supports Ukraine, and helps the people of Ukraine not only with words, but also with deeds. Sean is the founder of the humanitarian organization CORE Response that helps IDPs in Ukraine and refugees in Poland and Romania.
In November, the actor once again met with Volodymyr Zelenskyi and handed him an Oscar statuette as a sign of faith in the victory of our country. In his turn, the President presented Sean Penn with the Order of Merit of the III degree for a significant personal contribution to strengthening interstate cooperation and support in these difficult times for Ukraine.
Currently, Sean Penn continues work on a documentary film about the Russian-Ukrainian war, since the actor has already visited the liberated territories and front-line zones more than once to see with his own eyes the horrors of the destruction in Ukrainian cities and tell the whole world about it.
